The KEB Hana Bank Invitational has been striving to become a major Asian tournament since 2018 and is rapidly gaining prominence as an international championship with the participation of many athletes from the Japan Golf Tour and PGA Tour China.
The invitational, which was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was held as an exclusive Korea tour for the KPGA.
It has held as an eco-friendly golf tournament under the slogan ¡°Let¡¯s Go Green¡± as part of HFG¡¯s proactive implementation of Big Step for Tomorrow, its ESG vision. Plays were accompanied by the featuring of diverse upcycled/recycled and eco-friendly products and an ESG donation event.
The invitational was graced by many outstanding plays by winner Taehoon Lee, defending champion Yoseop Seo, super rookie Minjae Kim, and many players at the top of their game from the Korea, US, and Japan tours, including Jeongwoo Ham, Ik-jae Jang, Seungsu Han, and Charlie Wi.
